Provides technical management and oversight for all Non Destructive Methods

(NDT) and activities.

 As qualified, undertakes the role of SNT-TC-1A NDT Examiner (Level III) and / or is

the primary POC for any subcontracted NDT services.

Maintains radiation safety program compliance as defined by Radiation Controls, Alabama Administrative Code and Rules of State Board of Health. Acts as company Radiation Safety Officer.

Maintains auditing programs associated with welded workmanship and nondestructive testing.

Provides technical direction for Quality and Supervisory position in the performance of NDT methods.

Develop and implements customer NDT plans. Provides direction to production for resolution of issues.

Develops and provides Non Destructive training to support NDT process improvement and employee development.

Provides inputs to project and production regarding completion of tasks, performance to task, product quality, safety, productivity improvement, cost savings, milestone achievement and concerns.

Support all other Quality functions through special projects, development of programs,

databases, and implementation of new technologies

Monitors department skill level to ensure department stability, and growth to support succession planning.
