SUMMARY: ElectraWatch, An Austal USA Company is the prime contractor on a program to integrate additive manufacturing into the US Navy submarine industrial base. ElectraWatch is seeking an experienced Program Manager who has significant contract administration experience to lead this effort.
REPORTS TO: Principal Scientist - ElectraWatch

Sr. Business Operations Manager
AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Principal point of contact with the customer for all issues.
- Manage customer relationship
- Reporting to customer in terms of the contract
- Manage Subcontractor relationships
• Contract Administration
- Lead contract administrator for this effort
- Manage contract with Austal USA (parent company)
- Administrate approximately 10 subcontracts
- Working level understanding of the contract performance reporting.
- Contract change management / control
• Planning / Scheduling
- Plan Key events and meeting
- Prepare Milestones & critical path analysis
- Estimating with assistance from Sr. Business Operations Manager
• Procurement of materials and equipment.
- Manage order placement, on-time delivery from suppliers, quality assurance from suppliers
- Identify and resolve material and equipment issues.
• Classification and inspection authority relationship
- Product is built to specification and regulatory requirements.
• Test and evaluation programs
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
• 4 year degree relating to engineering technologies preferred
• 5 years of related experience and training
• Proven record of military marine program management
• A sound knowledge of the military marine construction industry
• A proven track record with experience in the marine industry in engineering / fabrication / operation
• Proven ability to set tasks for self and others
• Ability to listen to staff and customers and act appropriately
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, contract specifications, and major equipment specifications.
• Ability to check own work

DIRECTION EXERCISED: Full discretionary authority to assign work
DISCRETION EXERCISED: Full discretionary authority to correct and discipline, recommend pay increase, transfers, promotions, discharges, and process grievances.

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES:
Candidates must meet the following employment eligibility guidelines to be considered for employment with Austal USA:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Able to provide proof of US Person Status
- No felony convictions of Theft/Deception or Violent crimes within seven years from disposition date
- No felony convictions of Drug crimes within three years from disposition date
- Willing to submit to a drug screen
- Willing to submit to a background check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required Security Clearance.
